Dr. Fareem Jivraj was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University majoring in biological Sciences. He then moved to Boston, MA where he completed a Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry. During his clinical training, Dr. Jivraj received extensive experience in Ocular Disease working at the United States Veterans Affairs and various community health centers.
His Ocular Disease training includes management of Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Dr. Jivraj also excels in fitting specialty contact lenses. He is especially interested in fitting multifocal contact lenses in patients who are affected by Presbyopia.
In his spare time, Dr. Jivraj enjoys travelling, watching sports, and playing hockey.
